He folded his arms and snorted. Eyes slowly turning to them as he glanced at them. Watching their targeted states. He crossed his arms, folding them. Slowly turning his attention away. "Soon. Very soon." He paused and started to walk away. Walking to his one and only home. He was done for the day and left everything else in Toukon's paws. Hell the dog knew alittle bit more then he. And if Kotsu was to talk, he'd only confuse the genins even more. So leaving it up to the dog was far less confusing. Kotsu disappeared.
Toukon blinked and heaved a sigh. He hated making the final words. He pondered a few moments before looking back to the genins. He sighed and cleared his throat. "Ahem." He said, gathering their attentions. "Missions start torromow. Be up early, and I mean early." Eyes narrowed as if expecting the kids to know the exact right time. "Late genins are not tolerated. Be on time and you won't fail. Missions are to be done exactly at their purposes. If you get bored of a mission. Tough luck!" He growled. "Me and your sensei will try getting you more ranked missions. But it depends on how well you act." He turned to leave. "Be here torromow before sun rises." He leaped and disappeared.

She watched him go, then turned her attention to the dog. She listened silently, taking in the words even though her gaze wandered. Presently, this dog, Toukon, finished his quick words with the set time they should arrive the following day, and disappeared. Only the three Genins were left, the sun now slowly creeping above the treetops, staining the dark sky a ruddy orange, yellow, and red. So. They had made it. She allowed herself to relax for a moment, just observing quietly as Keiyou unfolded his wings and became a black silhouette against the mix of color. He loosed a forlorn call and circled slowly above the clearing, waiting for Kakani to head down the path, back to the small house on the edges of Konoha, the house that was not a home. It had not been, not since he left... She nodded, such a small movement it could not be seen save for the eyes of a hawk, and turned towards the rough, dirt-packed trail that wound a meandering way back to the city. She paused, her head turning in a barely perceptible way, and called over her shoulder.
“Raidon, Raven. I need to speak with you, sometime soon. Separately.”
She paused here, as if she had something more to say but didn’t know how to put it. She forced her thoughts into words, her hesitation to leave making her irritable. “It’s important, if we’re going to be working together from now on.” Without another word, she strode, laid back, almost with a lazy elegance into the trees and reaching one hand up, flashed away into the wood through the branches. She could take the long way home, but not only was it tiresome, she would probably be forced to walk back with both of them. Keiyou shrieked his relief to heading back himself overhead, and she could see him now and then in the lightened dimness above the branches. She traveled fast, eating distance by way of moving from limb to limb of each tree. Soon, she came to the end of the short stretch of wood and arrived at one of the smaller gates around the city. She stopped again, perched precariously, but stably on the outer branch of one of the last trees. She brooded for a moment, unwilling to enter the backstreet catacombs of Konoha, darkly watching the merchants opening up their shops for the day.
A small dagger twisted slowly in her chest when she spotted one of Takaui’s old haunts, the rooftop above the old bookstore. No one ever went up there except them, and now, except her. The only way to see him again was become strong enough to travel with him and hold her own, wherever he may be… that was why all of this was necessary, whether she liked it or not. Everyone else could go to hell, unless they served to make her stronger. With a final, unheard sigh she slipped off the branch and landed on the spongy ground, walking back onto the streets and trudging back to the two story, narrow house where she lived. Only the shopkeeper across the road, a florist, spared a glance as the dusty wooden door opened and slammed shut, as it did so often when that troublesome girl was around. All the woman could think as she swept her broom across her storefront was that things were quieter without that older boy always getting into trouble, that girl with him. Now the boy was gone, and good riddance! If only the girl would go too. The woman shrugged to herself and went back inside her shop, the little bell on the door tinkling as it swung shut.
[Should I start a thread to talk to Raidon and Raven first, or wait until after our first mission?]

((It's fine by me either way. Raidon? Any thoughts? ))
Raven watched her Sensei leave, her eyes watching him walk away. When he was no longer in sight, her gaze fell to Toukon. He was quickly becoming something she was used to seeing, as were her Sensei and teammates. Soon, eh? That was fine by her. Though she was able to conceal it, she WAS eager to begin training, even if it was meager chores that anyone could perform. No pain, no gain, right? Ahem.
The dog caught her attention as he began to speak. Tommorrow...that WAS soon. That was great news. Toukon and Bonkotsu-Sensei would try and get them better ranked missions? Even better news. Raven thought it was ammusing that Bonkotsu-Sensei didn't even have to say a word to his dog, and Toukon would always know what his master wanted said. In a way, it was kind of cute. She had never had a pet, or an animal companion for that matter, so she wouldn't know the details of that kind of relationship. Still, it was interesting to her. When Toukon finished and leaped away, Raven breathed a small sigh. It was just the three of them now.
Raidon, Raven. I need to speak with you, sometime soon. Separately.
Raven's gaze turned to look at Kakani. She had voiced what she, Raven, had been thinking. They needed to get to know each other if they wanted to opperate efficiently as a team. Raven nodded gently, her eyes peeking thoughtfully through her bangs at Kakani and Raidon. The fact that they would be interacting made her...what was the word for it...nervous? Anxious? A bit of both? She hadn't gotten used to interactions with others besides her teachers. With a sigh, she just decided that she would just have to deal with it. Then Kakani turned to leave.
"Er...Goodnight, Kogaku-san." And then Kakani was gone into the trees. It was just she and Raidon now. There was a time of silence before she turned to him. "I'm sure you're tired, Yasashiku-san. I'll...leave you to your rest." She said softly, and she turned to leave. Then, she stopped,her back still turned. She looked over her shoulder back at him. What was this? Was that a smile on her face?! It was, a timid small one, but a smile nonethe less. "And...good job today.."

{I'm in for either or. It makes no difference to me :3}
Raidon winced inwardly. Pretty soon faking that he didn't mind waking up so early wasn't going to work, so he decided to go to bed earlier tonight. But their very first mission started tomorrow, so it wasn't as though he would even think about being late. Rai watched his sensei vanish and turned to the other two remaining, eyes that once rested on the ground zipping over to rest on Kakani as she announced they would have to talk. Soon. Seperately. Well okay with Raidon, after all, they would have to get to know eachother somehow... if that was what Kakani even wanted to do. Hrm. Maybe he had been wrong about the girl. Maybe she actually had the tiniest flicker of interest about things other than "boring" and "serious" ideas. As Kakani turned and left, he called after her, "Have a nice day?", his tone both slightly confused and bright as always. Rai never had a good side with introverts, but he never had a bad side either. He just had a not-as-good side.
Rai yawned and turned to Raven when Kakani left. He lifted his head in attention as Raven spoke, smiling pleasently. Sure, Raven kept to herself as did Kakani, but Rae was a bit... different. Perhaps shy? Kakani was just quiet and serious, but she was still confident in herself. Perhaps Raven wasn't as confident as the red-head girl of their team. It didn't matter to him, though. It mattered surely to the team, but it didn't hurt him personally. Any personality problem could be trained out of, not to say shyness or Raven was a problem. But perhaps he could get her to open up. Raidon had figured the longer things stay inside the longer they rot, so finally a person had to throw them out and spread their grossness around.
He grinned as Raven finished speaking and turned to leave. He himself wheeled on his heel in the direction he had come from, when Raven's voice caught his attention and his head turned again. Raven was... smiling? Raidon's grin brightened as he said cheerfully, "You too, Raven." Oh yes, there was hope for this team personality-wise yet. Much hope. Raidon walked down the path he had made coming here briskly. Now, he had some sleep to catch up on.

[Alright, if this took place in the morning I'll start a thread for sometime during the day. I think Kakani should meet up with Raidon first, since he'll be the most difficult for her to talk to. Then when he leaves the scene, Raven comes in? Hmm. Anyway, I'll go post.]
