With swift movements, the Jounin ninja ran across the open pathway towards the village. A place he was familiar with, but cared not of it. Yes indeed it was his job to protect those inside the village. But he found them worthless and pathetic if they could not defend themselves. Those were his thoughts, but he remain emotionless and less arrogant then any fool who lets their emotions get the best of them. He was alot different then all of them put together. This almost made him laugh inside, but he caught himself. He wasn't going to break his own vow of silence now. He had worked a good deal off to thrive the way he was. Even though such a thing as this was quite natural for him of course.
Came along side of him with great speeds as he, was his partner Toukon. A dog demon of some sorts. Both raised together to fight together till the end. But the end will not come so soon. They'll fight with great fury before they were taken from their breaths. True Toukon was given to him by his caretaker. And at first he wasn't entirely fond of the dog. But after realizing the dog's full ability, he took quick likings to him. He didn't highly view the dog as a friend. Perhaps a partner and that was it. But he'd protect the dog with his life as the dog has done the same several times. Learning from both Toukon and his teachers aswell as himself. Granting the way he was of course.
As he enter near the village, he made sure his presence was unnoticed. He did not wish anyone to detect his presence. It was less trouble to deal with. He had no time for them or anyone else. He was back from his job and ready to just fall over dead. Not entirely true. He was always ready for a battle. That was his greatest skill. ALways ready for anything that came towards him. They would never stand a chance. They figured he was from somewhere else, but he would tell them he was from the great Inuzuka. They'd look at him strange and laugh. Truely he never knew exactly where he came from. He was just him and that was all that mattered entirely.
He lifted up onto a tree branch far from the village and laid on his back. Looking up at the shadowed leaves. Staring into them emotionless as always. Having no real expression planted on his face. But it didn't mean he never thought. His mind was always wandering, but he never showed it. But he hardly thought, it only brought more trouble and it was worthless. Almost like dreaming. Why do we dream when our thoughts mean nothing? It was pointless, pitiful and pathetic. He shook his head and turned to gaze as Toukon curled up ina ball under the tree branch. Watching as the dog quickly went to sleep. He looked away and slowly closed his eyes. Merely resting.

A golden ball flashed across the air, jingling with each soft thud as it hit the ground. With the sunlight striking it through the leaves, the bell now came to a slow roll. Behind it, barelt audible thuds of paws were heard. Just like the goldem flash itself, a white and orange replaced it. With stealth like grace, a rather large cat lept from a neighboring tree just inches from the bell. It was white with a saddle pattern of orange and brown stripes. It's stuby tail wiggling back and forth. On tenative paw reached out to bat at the bell before it grabbed it between its jaws.
Two toned eyes turned suddenly at the deep breathing of another animal. The cat puffed up at the sight of the big dog and dropped the bell. A low growl echoed from his jaws as he backed away, claws out. His muscles fluttered and he was about to spring when a high whistle sounded.
"Don't you dare Hotaru...." A female voice hissed futher down on the path.
A younger jounin walked silently across the path, her sharp golden eyes pivioting from one tree to the next. Despite being so close to home, she could not afford an overlooked mistake. She was young for her rank, giving off the appearance of one in their early twenties. A mixture of blue and dark blue hues made up her hair, tide behind her in a short, flared out ponytail. A sliver of pink in one bang was the only thing that stood out. Despite her rank, she wore no jounin vest. Rather, she sported a white t-shirt with blue flared sleves and tawny colored jeans.
Black sandals tapped the ground impatiently as her partner gave no sign of giving up his spot. So determind to fight with him are you boy? She sighed in her head. A black and white spotted cat about a few inches taller then the bobtail strode beside her feet, a bored look acrossed its eyes. Akina starred down to her sister's partner, trying to assemble all the reasons why this one listened to her more then her own partner.
Kobe starred back up at her, giving a lazy meow before stridding off towards the trees where Bonkotsu laid. Akina was still naive to his presence and continued walking towards the furry rage of cat ahead. "Taru..." She hissed, swatting him across the head. "Unless you want him to eat you, leave it alone!"
Akina shifted slightly to gaze at the large canine. She kept her hand near her pack, arm ridgid if it decided to lunge at this disturbing company. Strange...most of the dogs here were smaller nor as feirce looking. An explanation came quickly however, it must belong to a shinobi. His master must be near... She muttered and drew her kunai. Akina couldn't afford to give out so much trust. Wheter is was a Konoha or an enemy ninja, she still couldn't be certain.
Taking one hesitant step forward, the younger jounin approached the dog. Her eyes were narrowed and focused not just on him but her surroundings. Cautiously, she reached out with one hand towards him. "What's a big dog like you doing out here? Where's you master?" She said softly, tilting her head to the side.

Kotsu wasn't entirely asleep, nor was he entirely awake. His mind driftly off to endless wonder. He never really thought about his dreams nor his thoughts. Not really remembering anything about his history. Not that he really cared. He remembers what he was and whom he was with. He suppose that was all that matter really. No one relaly told him about anything and if anyone knew him from before, he didn't. No matter how many times they reminded him. He'd give a shrug and walk off. He mattered not to him and in truth, he cared not. Just like among other things, he just didn't care.
Toukon's ears pricked up towards the slight smaller feline. One eye opening to study perhaps another prey? Watching as the cat hissed as it got closer. Tilting his head towards the bell he had heard not to long ago. Not entirely curious of what was going on. He gave a swift yawn and stretched. Lowly growling at the little feline before settling himself. He couldn't help but mentally laugh at the feline. Laughing at his attempts to take on a dog such as he. He had to praise the little bugger, but he was tired. Slowly tighting into a ball and trying go back to sleep. Until the human appeared and advanced closer to him.
He saw the weapon and quickly lifted. Fur bristled and a growl rumbled through his throat. Spatting at the human girl and inching away from her. Curling his lips into a snarl and exposing his large canines. He wasn't afraid of her, but he merely wanted to warn her before he striked. A bark escaped his throat and he backed away once more as he saw the girl extend her hand. He almost snapped at it. He was almost furious, wanting to push this girl away.
Kotsu pricked his ears as he heard a sound. Opening one eye as he half-glanced to down below. Spotting a young girl and her cats. Watching as the girl bravely ventured near Toukon. Wait, someone was near his dog? He shook his head and paid no heap to it. Not entirely worried about it. But then he caught out of the corner of his eyes a fly of fur. He quickly jumped up to see in time Toukon lunging at the girl. Toukon was going to cause trouble. Kotsu leaped down from the tree branch and shoved against his dog's side. Watching as the dog flew to the side. Toukon almost lunged at his master, but stopped. Standing frozen in place. Kotsu half-glanced to the girl. Speaking of no words.

With that first utter of a growl, Akina flipped the kunai in her hand so that it pointed towards the dog. Despite the constant company of animals, she had never grown over her fear of canines. Having earned several lectures from her peirs about how one would only attack if you cornered it gave her the conffidence to approach them.
Her gold eyes turned steely as he bristled and back further towards the tree. Half of her whispered to slowly back off yet the other part wanted to look closer. The moment those fangs appeared, Akina stumbled backwards. She offered a pityfull squeak as the dog seemed ready to lunge. Watching him tense, the jounin seem to lose any thought of moving. Why did it always seem that in the face of fear, one forgot eveything. Wasn't this something they had trained out of her.
Yet emotional fear couldn't always be so easily dealt with. Akina sheilded her face with her arms as the dog lunged, crying out softly. Her whole body went ridgid, ready for the sensation of fangs digging into her. Without thinking, she had backed away a few feet. It seemed like hours before she dropped her arms to see Bonkotsu standing between her and the dog.
Hotaru came to stand at her side, his fur stnading on edge as he hissed at the dog. The little guy was actually daring him to take a step closer. How he would enjoy clawing his eyes out for harming his mistress. Kobe came from behind the tree and nipped at the dogs feet before scrambling over to the girl's side to hiss with Hotaru.
Akina was shaking still, her kunai held in a striking pose with all intent to kill if the beast came any closer. She blinked once, trying to find her voice. Gold eyes shivered as they looked him over. Something seemed familiar about him yet she couldn't put her finger on it. But Akina let this go, only really caring about the Konoha symbol on him. An ally, somewhat of a releif. She slowly put away her kunai, trying not to look so foolish infront of another jounin. "He.....dosen't like other people...huh." She said softly, trying not to shake.

Standing in that same pose, frozen. Still watching Akina as if he was a statue in place. Not moving or any signs of even moving or making an expression. Used to many things, he could have stood like this for months if he wanted. Toukon alittle shooken up by this whole thing, literally jumped when the feline nipped his ankles. He was about to lunge at the cat before Kotsu finally moved stopping the dog from moving. He adjusted his stance and straighten up. Gazing oddly at the girl.
As much as the memory tugged on him about her. He didn't remember a thing about her. Shrugging it off, dubbing it un important. What matters now is perhaps a few other things. His rest was interruped, not that he'd sleep good anyways. Toukon was irriating him and in reality the girl and her cats were abit annoying. Glancing towards the cats, studing their behaviour. Feisty little things he had to admit. Ready to strike and protect their mistress if needed. Though they didn't seem like a good match or great protectors to have as pet and guards.
The girl spoke to him. Watching as she tried to correct her mistakes. Going back to her words. "He.....dosen't like other people...huh." He didn't seem like he wanted to answer that. Not finding words or a conversation very useful in this state. He wasn't one to start chats or gatherings. Always anti-social and off doing things on his own. But he decided to go ahead and answer her simple question. Didn't hurt he supposed. "No...not really.." His voice somewhat deep and shallow. He didn't bother to ask her why she had advanced on his dog. He didn't really care enough to.
Turning his attention away from him. His emotionless face scanning the skies, before looking towards the village. Scolding his mind as he turned his gaze back to the girl. Part of him wanted to leave while another yelled at him. Commanding him to kill the girl. Another pleaded with him to remember. His memories ment nothing. He remembers nothing.

The silence between them seemed almost unbearable as Bonkotsu and Akina stood apart. She seemed to get her shaking under control for the moment as the dog stood beside his master and under his control. Nervous orange eyes flicked towards the two, feeling a little bit confident that Hotary and Kobe were by her side again. Harmless as they seemed, it was quite foolish to understimate that they really could do.
Hotaru hissed sharply as Toukon reated to Kobe nipping at him. He could sense his mistress's fears and lept to her shoulder and rubbbing her face. It broke her from her nervous stance as she waited for him to speak. That voice seemed strange yet somewhere in her mind, a small spark of memories flared. Those cold eyes were what drew her to look deeper. Akina cursed to herself, trying despertly to think of where those same eyes had occured in her past.
The bobtail snipped at her ear as he finished speaking his hollow sentence. Akina blinked once and tried to recline to a more respectable pose. Show your rank girl, don't be seen as a fool in this guys eyes.. her mind hissed. She brushed one hand across her hair, looking towards the village as he did. "You're partner I assume. Not many would let such a big dog tag around as a pet without good reason."
For some reason she wanted to keep him talking. Maybe hoping in the back of her mind something would hit her with his foggy identity. Eyes watched him turn to the village then back to her. His mind was fighting over something, she could see it quite plainly. Akina slowly pulled her hand down towards her pack again in fear. He looked ready to attack her, hopefully her thoughts were wrong. Kobe and Hotaru noticed her tense body and began to hiss again as they waited for him to move. Akina narrowed her eyes before speaking more coldly. "What are you doing here?"

Watching the nervous stance of the girl with great interest. It seemed she feared him alittle. Or perhaps was alittle troubled sorting her mind out. Something odd about her though. But whatever memory he had left resided in Toukon's mind. Eyes narrowed slightly, still having his cold glare. Face burden with no emotions. Not that you could see under that mask he wore. No his mask concealed every expression he made. No one ahd even bothered to focus there to see if he was smiling or frowning. He knew they wondered, many had asked him a couple of times. He would merely shrug it off and go about his own ways.
But his mask held something important. Despite what he had vowed to no do, he did it merely for a living. He was partially a jounin for Konoha, but he would never admit it. He was an ANBU, an assasion and amog other things. He fearednothing and would always go to his fullest. To him, nothing was impossible. And as long as he didn't have anyone in his way, he always succeeded in his missions. He was good at that, that was the whole purpose of his life.
But having a comrade was pointless and useless. They always seem to get in the way. Always getting themselves into trouble. Someone had to protect them and that always caused your life. He didn't need that. But he had Toukon, that was true. But the dog is a mere tool in his life. It may seem sad, but he cares nothing for Toukon. The dog knows and understands that. But he still remains at Kotsu's side, despite all things. Kotsu doesn't remember anything beyond that.
His arms laid limped against his side as he heard the girl speak once more. Why did she keep on presisting on having him speak. He hated talking, he'd wish you could quiet this girl. That would be trouble if he killed an innocence girl. Why did you care anyways? Less trouble on his hand and no one would really care if a ninja disappeared. They couldn't prove it anyways. Something tugged at him though. "Hmph...He isn't my partner. He isn't even a friend. He is just a tool." He paused.
"Not a pet...And yes I have good reason. I suppose you've already heard them." He looked to Toukon as the dog stared at him with a shock. Thought he dog knew, it had just been awhile since he had heard those exact words from his mouth. Toukon looked away and mumbled under his breath. "I'm sorry..." Kotsu turned away and looked back to the girl. "My reasons for being here are my business not yours. I have my reasons...But I am not merely an ally. But I care not. Why you persure on chatting with me girl?"

That mudererous intent in his eyes was becoming a huanting veil over the situation. She could see him puzzling his thoughts though he seemed emotionless before her. What would be really he accomplish by killing her, much less a reason why. Akina mentally shurgged, drawing out three needles between her fingers in the one hand. Mysterious guys like this never needed reason or logic to kill. If something annoyed them, they made no hesitation to go for the throat.
Whispering softly, Hotaru crouched down on her shoulder at command and stopped his hissing. Two toned eyes starred intently on Bonkotsu's throat just incase his owner's fears were true. Akina let her fear slip away as he spoke about his canine. Though she like all shinobi were taught not to show emotion during any situation, she coulnd't help but clench her fists.
Just a tool huh....we can all really all them that. she whispered softly in her mind. Her face turned slightly to look at her felines. If they were tools, why so willingly did they charge into battle beside them. Sometimes loyallty was seen all to often as something so barbaric as a tool. Akina shook her head and slowly brought her gaze back to Bonkotsu. His dog looked just as shocked at his words, but the jounin doubted he really saw him as that. Nothing spent so long together with could be seen as that.
She slowly drew a sly smile as he spoke. Such a mysterious guy are we. It hasn't been the first time I've heard those words spoken by other nins. Akina took one step closer, tempting fae and his unknown patience with her. "Well now, I suppose it really isn't my buisness afterall. Ninjas come and go through here and mission and by will. I suppose that would aplly to you as well. But it is my buisness of what you are doing in Konoha. We don't take well to murderers." She said slyly, eyes sparkling with a fiesty spirit of her youth. A flaw really, all youth seemed to think themselves immortal. But this jounin had been through her share to battles to erase such a common flaw.
Akina took one more step forward, her hands reaching out hesitantly towards the mask the obscured his face. Just to see that face under the shell might perhaps help the aching thoughts of her. Fingers flinched hesitantly as she watched to see if he would stop her. "My reasons for continuing this talk? My own reasons as well really....and to see who you are." She spoke more softly.

He was showing emotion now. Perhaps a quick devious grin ceased among his features. He couldn't help but laugh at her such pitiful nature. Watching her pose once more. He quickly looked away from the girl. Eyes looking directly at his dog as Toukon stared lazily back at him. But he saw some kind of hurt in the dog's eyes. But he knew the dog knew what he had thought about their relationship. Narrowing his gaze at the dog. Glaring back at him. Just barely hearing those words. "I'm sorry..." He half-way grit his teeth at this thought. He couldn't believe Toukon would say such arrogant words.
Perhaps he did have some useful memory. But only Toukon remembered. The first time he had gotten the dog perhaps wasn't a joyous day. He had always ingored him and refused to have anything to do with him. As time grew, he found what the dog was compatible of. Using him for his own simple tools. He couldn't help but frown at this. Looking away from Toukon, gaze facing towards the ground. Memories still haunting the very existence of what was left of his condemned mind.
Toukon had always risked his life to save Kotsu and never did he once thank him. But Kotsu had also risked his life for the dog many other times. He clenched his fist and grumbled under his breath. Damn that girl for bringing back such arrogant memories. Placing one of his hands on his forehead and smacking it. Forcing his memory to go away. Admitting alittle that he perhaps cared alittle for the dog, but that was another story. Half-glancing to Toukon as he relaxed. "Just shut up...." He said simply.
Tilting his head as he just barely saw the girl's hand reached for his mask. With swift movements he grabbed her hand and glared at her. "Call me what you will girl. I care not, my problems are mine and your business is yours. If Konoha had sought me as problem, then I think I would have been kicked out ages ago." Eyeing her, placing one of his hands in his pocket, his free hand. His hand still among her wrist, tightening his hold. "See who I am? And how exactly is this going to accomplish anything?" Motioning to her trying to take off his mask.

Her eyes softened as he seemed to be arguing over his thoughts. Was there denial of his words about his companion. Akina allowed her sly smile to curve at bit more, knowing that some bit of her words must be true. She brought herself to look at Toukon, her ears straining to hear the silent conversation between the pair. A sigh escaped her lips, no luck.
Akina's finger had but one more hesitant twitch before he grabbed her wrist. She made no quick attempt to free it however. Taking his words to heart about Konoha never expelling him yet. It was a blind bet, but she had no choice. One quick movement from her and she doubted she would receive her hand back in on piece. Besides, if he really did wish to kill her, his best chance would have been when she had arrived.
She looked at his clenched hand, trying not to grimace at his tightening grip as he talked. His question of her reason made her stop smiling. Why was she so damn curious to see the face hidden under the mask. Why did she not say goodbye and continue towards the village. Plague with that thought, she slowly brought her bright gold eyes to meet his.
He is familiar mine, do not let age fool you for a spirit never changes A motherly voice said softly in her mind. Kobe rubbed up against her leg, bright green eyes watching Bonkotsu. Hotaru on her shoulder purred in agrement with the older queen as he crept down her outstretched arm. His jaws were parted again in a silent snarl, ready to bite his hand if he did not release his master.
Akina smiled at the two, titling her head just like her feline partners were stalking a bird. Her eyes turned slit like for a moment as she stepped closer toward Bonkotsu, the bobtail hissing as he tried to keep balance on her moving arm. "To you it may not accomplish anything but to me it does. How does one say it? Curiousity killed the cat.." She said, glancing at her hand to see if he would still refuse her in removing his mask.

Kotsu tilted his head as he watched her further. Tilting his head to the hissing cat. He narrowed his eyes and gave a light growl back. "Bite me feline!" He challenged the cat Hotaru. Snorting lightly as he looked back to Akina. Astonished by her actions as she kept moving closer and closer to him. He smirked slightly, pleased by the determined girl. He was about to grab her other hand to refuse any entrances to what laid under the mask. But as he was about to grab it, something shut pain up his body. Quickly looking down to see whom it was, he became angered.
"Kotsu! Kotsu!" Lazily eyes tilted his head as his name was called. A girl about 12 came running to him proudly. "Kotsu! I passed! I passed!" She seemed so proud, giggling lightly. Although Kotsu was 17 and had already been an ANBU for a few years now, he was proud of her. "Well done Akina." He grinned lightly. "Now you'll need more training before you can be as strong as me." Of course he was joking. Placing his hand on her head and messing up her hair. "Hey! Kotsu!" Fixes her hair and grins lightly and giggles. Toukon sealed Kotsu's memories in his mind. The dog was reliving Kotsu's own past.
"OI! Kotsu! Can I ask you a question?" Akina question, looking at the huge gash mark among Kotsu's bottom face. "Huh? Ah..Yea sure." Kotsu replied to her. "Where did you get that huge scar?" Kotsu seemed abit puzzled. "Ah? Eh..Well.." He scratched the back of his head. "Hmm?" She urged. "Um..I got it during a battle." He finally replied. "A battle? What kind of battle?" She questioned. "Between myself and my sensei.." Akina looked at him quizically. "How come?" Kotsu shrugged. "I wanted to see who was stronger..." Toukon twitched.
Akina walked through the forest angry. "Why him..I don't know why he'd say such a think to me! Grr! I'll show him!" She grumbled under her breath before jumping back. Watching as a bunch of Sound Ninjas jumped out of no where. Akina screamed, the Sound Ninjas seemed pleased. Just as they were about to attack, a flash came and confused them. "Akina back away!" Kotsu said as he stood in a fighting stance. "GO!" Akina just stood back. Kotsu leaped towards the ninjas as they pressed air currents his way. He grit his fangs and bursted past them. Skipping a scene.
Kotsu was bloodied and torn, but he had succeeded in killing the ninjas. Not sure why they would go after Akina. He staggered alittle as he tried to move away. Akina ran to him. "KOTSU!" She wrapped her arms around him. "Get...Get away from me..." Was all he could manage to say before he fell. They both were on the ground. Wrapping her arms tighter around him. "I won't let you go!" She was in tears now, crieing. "A..Akina.." He closed his eyes. "I won't ever let you go!" As morning came, he was no where to be found.
Kotsu twitched and glared at Toukon as the dog bit down hard on his leg. The dog looked at him with pleading eyes. Kotsu growled lowly at him and jerk his head as pain went through his head.
"Toukon?" Kotsu's voice spoke to his beloved dog. "Yea?" Toukon replied. "I'm going to leave. Never to return, I'm going on my own path. Whether you come with me or not matters not to me. We aren't comrades. I want no comrades. I've to many and they only hold me back. I don't need to protect anyone but myself. That's the way of a shinobi.." Toukon's eyes widen. "But..." Kotsu shook his head. "No...I need no comrades.." Toukon sighed. "I'm going too...I know I'm not your comrade, but you are my master and I'm loyal to you. I'm your tool!" Kotsu looked away. "Do as you wish."
Kotsu quickly released her hand and grabbed Toukon by the scruff and threw the dog aside. Kotsu held his own head. Trembling slightly, eyes glaring at the cold ground. "Damn you...DAMNIT!" Kotsu did not remember a thing, it was Toukon that held his memories. "Oi Toukon! I'm forgetting my memories...Hold them for me...Don't ever reveal them, not even to me. I want nothing to do with it..." Toukon was the one remembering them. "Damn you girl! If you're that curious!" He straighten himself up and glared at her. Slowing taking his hand and sliding down his mask. Revealing the huge scar along the lines of his mouth and nose. He waited a few moments before pulling it back up.

((Sorry this took so long ._.;; ))
Hotaru growled even lower as Bonkotsu barked his challenge, fangs bared as he lowered his head for a quick strike. Akina's arm suddenly jerked as she saw him flinch in pain making the cat lose his balance. The jounin whispered something in a tongue no one could understand. The cat quickly dropped from her arm and stood by Kobe as they watched carefully.
Akina's eyes widened as she watched his face. What exactly was going on through that mind of his, none the less his dog Toukon. She quickly looked at her wrist, seeing no possibly way to break free if he decided to lash out her in whatever pain he was in. The jounin kept her weary golden eyes back on him now. Instead of her wily demeanor, it had dropped to sheer curiosity and nervousness.
Kobe began to hiss as Toukon bit his master's leg. Akina gave a little gasp at his action then glanced back to Bonkotsu as he seemed to be pulled from where ever he had gone. I owe you little guy.. she whispered in her mind, not wanting to see whatever he went through might cause her.
Watching him fling his dog to the side, she slowly took a step back. Wincing at his angry tone, her golden eyes looked away. You've done it now you idiot. Now you've gone and pissed him off... she cursed. Akina didn't dare to look up for a minute, afraid of what she would really see. Cautiously tilting her head upwards, Akina caught sight of that scar.
It was as if her whole mind had shut off, every twinge of fear or haunting memories disappeared. Just that one scar was enough to find the source of all her curiosity. Her eyes suddenly turned slit like as she took a step back. His hand still clung to her wrist, but she wanted to escape this now close quarters she had put herself into. Akina suddenly dug out one of her metal needles and dug it into his hand. Not enough to seriously hurt him but enough to release his grip.
With speed only another jounin could match, she quickly jumped backwards to stand against a tree trunk on the other side of the path. Her eyes were wide with fright now, body trembling with emotions she couldn't describe. Akina fell back against the tree trunk, sliding down till she sat on the ground. Her felines looked confused and instantly took to her side, hissing like little demons white they yet to know what caused her such fright.
"You can't be......." Akina said in a shaky voice, shaking her head is disbelief. This couldn't be the same boy she had know since childhood, the very one who had disappeared. She gold eyes locked with his, tears starting to form in the corners. "Kotsu..." she whispered his nickname.

Kotsu still trembled alittle from the pain the dog had caused. Eyes still glaring coldly at the dog for a few moments. Jerking himself as he realized his grip still remained among the girl. He had thought he had released. Apparently that was all in his mind. Just like everything else in his mind. He flinched quickly as the girl stuck a metal needle into his hand. He grimaced as she escaped only a few or so feet away. Not entirely caring where she wondered off to. But this was all becoming abit irriating to him. Quickly taking the needle out of his hand and tossing it the ground. Shoving himself back and holding his hand. Tiny droplets of blood covered his hand.
He growled under his breath and squeezed the pressure among his hand. Not even bothering to glance at the girl. Still focusing on his hand. Toukon slowly came to his aid and nudged his leg gently. His master didn't seem to pay any attention to him. Kotsu seemed less concern about anything around him. His wound slowly healing alittle and the blood disappearing. He flexed his muscles and rotated his shoulders alittle. Cracking his neck as he half-glanced to Toukon and lightly kicked the dog. "I'm fine.." He simply said.
Ears pricking to the sound of his name. Or perhaps only a rare nickname known by very few. Few as being very very rare. Since he had less concern for comrades and cared little to have one. A loner and a anti-social man. But he was a strong one at that and had always depended on himself and himself alone. Never entirely abandoning his old ways, but more less creating new ones for himself.
Slowly registering the name she had spoken. Trying to figure out how the hell she knew him. Not many do and that was odd, very odd. He slowly walked to where she sat, Toukon urging him not to go. Kotsu ingored him and crouched down as he slowly met his sligtly light crimson eyes towards her locked gold ones. Watching as tears started to form in her eyes. He lifted his hand, claws slightly formed on the tips, gently pressing them against her throat. But not enough to think he was to strangle her. His other hand wiping away the tear drop. Slowly lowering his head closer to hers. But froze slightly, his right eye now visible to show his sharingan eye. "Why do you cry for someone so lost? How do you know my name?"

((Sorry this is late. o.o I suck at these types of posts lol))
Hotaru and Kobe ruffled their fur to it's biggest as they hissed. Hotaru, more closely bounded to the shivering jounin placed himself between Bonkotsu and her as he approached. He hissed even louder and whackes his tail against the ground in rage. He was about to pounce when Akina whimpered a soft command. Go away Taru....take Kobe with you. This is none of your concern. The bobtail starred hard at her, trying to decifer what in the hell was twirling in that mind of hers. Kobe came to his side, harshly nipping at his ear for him to follow. The two cats bounded out the view, less confident in their owner's trust of this strange shinobi.
Akina shivered even more as Bonkotsu came towards her. Her hands clenched the ground as he approahced. Fingers dug deep into the earth and her legs went ridgid. Like a cornerd rabbit, her breathing became soft but rapid. She wanted to bolt into the trees and to the safety of the village. Akina had her brother to care for, she was not willing to die here by this ghostly phantom.
She flinched now, despite being in the presence of another jounin. The jounin had thrown all her care about rank and dignity away as fear gripped her body. She wanted to bolt but nothing would move. Akina screamed mentally as he leened down in front of her. This can't be Bonkotsu... she cried softly he died, there's no way he could have survived that attack
Her gold eyes were forced to look into his again as his claw wipped away her tear and grip her neck. He seemed so cold right there, yet no matter how much it seemed, Akina felt no intent to kill her. She looked into his sharingan, lost in those whirling red tones and pupils. Only one ninja she had known carried this technique, the same one with that unforgetable scar.
Akina straightened herslef up against the tree as he spoke. Those daunting and cold eyes hypnotized her into a world of lost memories. He did not recognize the shivering jounin before him but Akina knew him without a doubt. She lifted on trmbling hand and gently stroked his hand on her neck. A meek little smile drew upon her lips as she began to cry. "You are not as lost as you think. I'm crying because the one who was lost to me has come back. Don't you recognize me? Bonkotsu?" She whispered softly, finding that name bring a warm flush of memories across her mind.

Kotsu tensed lightly as he watched the girl. Slight movement of his eyes as he caught those cats again. Watching as they growled and hissed, trying to protect their master. He lowly growled back to them. Almost challenging them to attack him. But he wasn't to puzzled when something made them head down the hills. He smirked and rolled his eyes as he looked directly at her once more. This girl, she seems to confident of knowing me. But why? His mind lured over the thought, becoming abit annoyed by this mess. But he never showed it. Being very patient with the girl, which was very rare.
Toukon blinked as he watched them. He slowly came over to them. Getting a better look at Akina, studing the girl with great interest. She seemed so familiar, but where could they have known her from. He pondered a few moments, luring over memories. Sorting through his own mind aswell as Kotsu's lost memories. Where is this memory? He questioned himself, slowly closing his eyes. Slowly jotting through memory after memory. Where is this girl? He told himself once more. Claws scraping against the ground as he quickly sorted through more memories.
Suddenly his eyes jolted open, eyes widening at the very thought. That girl! That girl! Kotsu that girl! She... He stopped, slowly backing away. Kotsu would have gotten mad at him if he revealed any memories to him. Kotsu always seemed abit moody whenever Toukon lured over lost and, to Kotsu, pathetic nonsense. His body tenses, wanting to tell Akina that he, the dog, remembered her. He remembers her from Konoha, from Inuzuka, from Kosetsu. He wanted to tell her, he regonized her.
Kotsu half-glanced to Toukon, eyes luring over his shoulders. Glaring coldly at the dog with eyes that seemed almost like daggers. The dog had almost told him a memory, something he found useless and pathetic. He looked back to Akina as she spoke. She did it again, but why was she so determined to remember a lost soul such as he? He had no clue, but it was annoying. He growled lowly. "No, I don't remember you." Not wincing as she stroked his one hand that laid wrapped lightly around her throat. "For those that linger in the past have no true life. Remember something as useless as this will only burden me." He sneered. "Why do you keep assuring yourself that you know me? Why would you even want to remember...?"
