Tesou's face remained blank, showing no response to Irrell's suspicious look. It amused him, however, that Irrell would think the jounin had something up his sleeve. Who knew, maybe the jounin would just have to plan something now, since Irrell seemed to espect it.
Tesou listened intently to Irrell's plan, then nodded. "Interesting. A place worth checking out." He made a mix between a shooing motion and a point. "Lead on." He watched for a moment, not following, as Irrell walked off. When Irrell yelled back, Tesou wasn't there anymore.
The hunter-nin leapt from rooftop to rooftop, taking the quick way to the lake. He arrived there soon, but remained in the treetops, choosing to stay out of Irrell's way and merely watch the genin's techniques. He'd point out suggestions, and offer his help, as needed. For now, he'd stay out of the way. His head wipped to the side as the feeling he'd been getting earlier was back. He stared into the woods' depths, the spaces between the trees suddenly seeming to grow darker and more boding. After a moment, the feeling seemed to seep away, the woods lightened; he looked back to the lake, trying to shake the uneasiness he was feeling out of his mind.

Shrugging off the fact that he didn't receive an answer Irrell contiued on. If the cat was down in the streets mixing with the crowds then it would be better with the crowds than on the rooftops. Irrell had his hands behind his head and a large grin on his face. Ah the wonders of hsving cats and always keeping kitty treats in your pocket just in case.
The lake loomed up in front of him. The Genin knew for a fact that Tesou was there since he had said he would be watching in a Tesou sort of way. Squatting down near the waters edge he put a hand in his pocket and pulled out three small ocean fish flavored treats. "Thank you not checking the pockers before leaving!" Still grinning he set the treats down in the grass. Standing and stretching Irrell walked away to the trees, jumped up in a branch, and waited while keeping an eye out for a white moving object.

Tesou waited in the tree, then something moving out of the corner of his vision drew his attention. Irrell had walked up the lake, and was laying down something by the lake; at the range he was at, Tesou couldn't tell what. Who knew what it could be. He remained silent, resting at a crouch high in the tree, hidden from view by a mix of shadows and branches. He was experienced at hiding, and knew exactly how to position himself to keep an eye on his target, but at the same time keeping hidden from them.
As Irrell went up into a tree, Tesou began taking mental notes. A high viewpoint was a good idea, giving one a view of the surrounding area. A good mark for the genin, thus far. He wondered once more what had been set out, and pushed the thought away, settling it with a promise to ask Irrell about it later. A movement down by the lake drew his attention as well.
A large black shape padded into view, wandering down the lake at a light gait. It stopped, long snout lowering to sniff at the cat treats. With a sneeze, black eyes looked upwards, instantly honing in on Irrell. Another sneeze, this one defiant-sounding, the black eyes flicked almost sadly towards Tesou, holding a look as if he'd been cheated out of fun. Turning, he padded away, heading back to town.

Movement close to where he had put the treats drew Irrell's attnetion. Sadly it was a black shape and not white. It took him a while since he was still wondering about the cat to realize it was actually Tsubasa. Damn dog. Going to scare off the cat. Well, if it's here in the first place Irrell thought with a slight growl of annoyance. All he needed was the dog to mess things up. Thankfully though he turned adn went back towards the town. Letting out a small breath he never even realised he had been holding Irrell waited.
Birds came and went. Minutes went by and still no sign of the cat. And well, lets just say waiting is not one of the ninja's strong points. Fidgeting where he waited eyes kept flicking to whatever drew his attnetion. A squirrel. Two birds. A jumping fish. And yet, not one sign of a cat. "Looks like the cat isn't here," he whispered to himself, once more taking a look by the lake. That ment one thing. The town. The cat was somewhere in the town with all the crowds and places to hide. Irrell dreaded heading back there and crawnling around while calling out for the cat.
With a sigh he contiued staying in the tree for a bit longer. Maybe the cat was still hiding. Yeah. That was it. Hiding. Ah who was he kidding. ? The cat wasn't here by the lake. Standing and using the trunk for balance Irrell jumped out of the tree, landing witha soft thud on the ground below. "Damn cat not coming to the treat. Damn town for being so big." He contiued by cursing very random things. Some of which included his cats, trees, birds, squirrels, and many other random objects that weren't even in the immediate area.

Minutes ticked by, and the hunter-nin remained completely still, not a single muscle moving, as he watched. The only movement from him was his eyes, glancing every now and then from Irrell to the spot where the treats were; even that movement was fluid and subtle. He'd quickly concluded that whatever Irrell had left was something to draw the cat out, and instantly had known that they were likely treats of some sort.
It had been a mere ten or so minutes when the kid suddenly jumped out of the tree and started walking away. Mentally frowning, Tesou made a mental note: the kid didn't have patience. The jounin would have to be sure to include that in the next group lesson. Tesou silently followed Irrell, keeping to trees and shadows. He then stopped masking his chakra ever so slightly, beginning another test. He flitted from tree to tree, almost in a zig-zagging course, staying in the same place for only a few seconds.

Growling and still cursing under his breath at random things Irrell stopped once to look back at the lake. He would come back later and see if the treats were gone. If so it ment the cat was there or some very strange random creature liked cat treats. If Kaku was with the cat would have helped him find the other cat no problem. All this running around and waiting was starting to run thin on his pataince. With a sigh, Irrell turned and contied towards the town with his hands behind his head like he had done so many times that day.
Something caught his intrest though. It was familiar in a way yet strange at the same time. Stopping again to glance back towards the lake Irrell looked over the suuround area carefully once. Something was definately out there and more and likely it was Tesou. But one could never be to sure without actual proof. Keeping an eye and ear out for anything suspicious that might be of use he turned back around and started back towards the town. Even with the possibility of it being his sensei Irrell kept a hand close to where he kept his kunai just in case.

Tesou noticed with interest, and surprise, that Irrell seemed to notice the exact moment when Tesou slightly lessened the masking he had on his chakra. That the student was able to sense Tesou's chakra, with a fairly daunting mask still on it, was a feat that caused Tesou to respect his student slightly more. He noticed that once Irrell had felt that chakra, he instantly grew alert, and his hand subtly drew closer to his weapon. Tesou mentally applauded this, and felt that the day was already a success on one part.
He continued to follow his student, changing positions frequently to see if his student could pinpoint his movements; if Irrell wasn't, Tesou would lower the mask slightly, until Irrell could follow every movement. Once the hunter-nin was satisfied with knowing Irrell's level at sensing chakra, he drew back, mask going back up to full, and he seemed to drift out of presence again.
While he frowned at the lack of patience the genin had, he would admit, to himself at least, that the genin had a fairly respectable talent at locating enemies by their chakra.

Eyes darted from side to side in a nervous manner. The twon was still a few ways and being far from it out the Genin on edge more. God, what had he gotten himself into this time? He stopped once more as the sence got slightly more powerful. Head turned and eyes blinked a tad confusingly at one tree than another. It was like that for a good minute before Irrell took up walking again. Keep moving, Irrell you idiot. Keep moving." he thought as he continued.
The hairs in the back of his neck stood on end as once again it became stronger. Even after telling himself over and over to keep moving Irrell couldn't help but stop once more to look around. Weather or not it was on purpose or not remained a mystery in his mind following became slightly more easier. Once again he started walking again, going at a slower pace than before. Now his curiosity had been spiked to the point of where he wanted to know what was out there. As ever minute passed following the trail became way easier until after about seven or so minutes of slow walking Irrell was able to follow it clearly.
Smirk was on his face and just as soon as the trail had come it disappeared. The town was way close now and the Genin let his hand move away from the weapons, still keeping his guard up should something still be out there.

Tesou continued to follow the genin, noticing the fact that Irrell untensed slightly as he could no longer feel Tesou's presence. He did see that the genin still kept up some guard, and the hunter-nin nodded in approval.
It wasn't long until they reached town again, and Tesou's perches changed from being trees to rooftops. He slowly walked along the roof, keeping hidden once more, and kept on eye on the kid walking below. He also kept an eye on the foortops; you never knew where a cat could get to, and the jounin might as well keep an eye out on the rooftops and alert Irrell if he saw the cat. He may be a bit 'evil' at times, but he wasn't heartless enough to let the kid wander off in one direction while the cat was in the other, and the jounin knew.
He also made a mental note to scold Tsubasa later; he expressly told the dog to remain at home today, or to remain in the general area of home. That the dog had come to the lake annoyed Tesou, since he knew the dog was perfectly capable of understanding human speech and ideas, and knew that an order was an order. He wondered what possessed the dog to wander out and about.

Smile danced across his face as he came to the town. One part down and another to go. First stop, every cat's dream; Where the fish was kept. Any sane hungry cat would go there. After all, when he couldn't find Kaku anywhere else wherever free fish was was always where he could find the cat. And if the cat wasn't there....then he was sout of ideas for now. There were the treats by the lake and the idea of free food. What else could he possibly do other than alert the whole village of the situation. Grin crossed his face at the mere idea of that. Freaking out the whole town just for the ska eof a single cat. Man, how much trouble would he get in for going that? Irrell decided not to press his luck with something like that.
The sounds of people talking and chatting was all around him now but Irrell focused everything on trying to lsiten for the cat's meows. Hopefully it was very social cat that meowed at every passerby. Soon he could not only hear the talk of fish but actually smell it as well. Nose wrinkled in a kind of disgust. Fish was never his favorite thing. Far from it actually. He hated the food. Stopping outside the small store his eyes wandered down to the ground to see if there was a white spot amongst all the legs and fish. Nothing. "Damn cat! Doesn't like fish. What kind of cat is it?" With a sigh and a small groan he walked up to the salesperson. "Seen a white cat around here lately?" he asked. He shook his head no giving Irrell information he already knew. The cat was never there. "Arg!" Spinning on his heel the Genin growled and mumbled to himself.

Tesou watched from above, sitting on the edge of a rooftop. He rested one elbow on a knee, scanning the crowd. He saw Irrell getting frustrated at not being able to find even sign of the cat, and almost smiled with amusement. Shaking his head, he began scanning the crowd again. His eye suddenly returned to a spot he had just looked at, squinting. What was that?
The next moment, Tesou was standing next to Irrell. Emotionless eye staring down at the genin, he murmured, "Kid, you may want to check out the street down that way, first left." He pointed across the crowd, down another street. With a nod, he was gone again, back up to the rooftops. He'd relayed his information, and now chose to go back to observing.

Irrell almost yelled out by the sudden appearence of his Sensei next to him. Heart was beating against his chest like mad and eyes were wide. "Note to self, keep better eye on Tesou. The last thing he needed was a heart attack from soneone giving information to him. He almost didn;t hear the words Tesou was saying to him he was still shocked and almost frozen to the spot. Hopefully there would be no more surprise drop ins.
Nodding a thanks to no one imparticular since Tesou had up and vanished again Irrell turned and wandered down the way he had said. Heart was back to normal as far as he could tell. Taking a left and blurr of white caught his eyes. The cat! The cat! Oh great lord it was the cat! Silently reminding himself to thank his jounin teacher later Irrel snuck up on the unsuspecting feline. He would figure out where the feline had gone as soon as he had the trouble makeing cat. Hand reached down quickl,y picking up the hissing furball by the scruff. "You have no CLUE how much trouble you put me threw. And for what? RAMEN!" With a sigh Irrell dropped the cat in his arms and turned to look for Tesou.

Tesou perched on the roof, watching with growing amusement as Irrell stormed up to the cat, snatched it up roughly, then proceeded to yell at it. With even more amusement, Tesou heard it to be something about ramen. What an odd one. Even amused, though, the hunter-nin didn't crack a smile, or even shift a brow or add a twinkle to his eye.
With quiet grace, the jounin landed near Irrell, a couple yards away this time, and stared down at Irrell when the kid turned. "Is the mission successful, kid?" He eyed the cat, taking in the pure white fur, single black ear, and apparantly fully extended claws and wild, panicked eyes. Definitely not the happiest of cats. The cat seemed to hiss as Tesou came closer, and Tesou stopped, almost frowning. Cats seemed to have the ability to sense a cat-hater in a person, and this one wasn't an exception.
With a nod to Irrell, Tesou turned, strolling now on the street back towards the crowds where they had started. Time to find the cat's owner and return the thing.

Still kind of ticked off at the cat for being in the least likely of spots Irrell couldn't help but smile. His first mission as a Genin and it was sucessful. "Yep! White with one black ear. It's the cat alright." Glad that his Jounin teacher hadn't just dropped in like the last time and given him a heart attack Irrell happily followed after him. The cat's claws were digging into his arm but at the moment he could care less. the cat had been caught. Now if only he could get some sort of compliment from Tesou it would be one miracle of a day.
Since Tesou had somewhat of a lead Irrell had to jog a little ways to catch up with the older ninja. The lady he had speaked with earlier was still looking around frantically for her lost cat in the area Irrell had first found her. That was conveinent. Basically prancing over to her, happy to be rid of the cat, the Genin lokoed back to see if Tesou was nearby. They had did somewhat of a mission even if it wasn't given out by the Kage. Wouldn't they ned to collect a fee of some sort? He kept a firm grip on the cat as he waited for Tesou to show.
