Hey hey... new here ^^
Character name Kanebaru Tesou, written in katakana, not hiragana. Heh.
I was wondering.... do we get to choose a rank, or do we automatically start as the lowest rank? Oo;; My character is supposedly somewhere in his twenties, so was just a wonderin....

^^ Right now people are allowed to chose which rank they wish. The only ones not yet allowed are the Kages or ANBU. Other then that you are free to make whatever rank. Btw, thank you! lol We have very few people in their twenties -Akina and Zell fell loved- Just to give you an idea of ranks needed.
Mist needs a jounin for the second team and genin for the two empty spaces. Leaf really only needs genin and students. Chuunin are welcomed in either one right now cause there's no huge need for em.

hmm... out of curiousity, are Hunters considered ANBUs?
And are they know to their village, or can they at least wander the village and pretend to be a normal jounin/etc?

Yeah, Hunter-nins are a form of ANBU which are appointed by Kages. But we have no kages so those ranks aren't open as of yet. ANBU's identies aren't known to anyone but the Kage. Technically they are Jounin so I suppose one could walk around when not on duty and pretend to be normal. Why?

well, in my original character idea for this guy, he had been going to be a hunter-nin (this was before I joined any roleplays or anything) So I had just been wondering.
So, I guess for now he'll just be a jounin then?
heh, and Tesou's a Mist Village member...

X3 ANBU's can be jounins when not hunting I suppose, they don't get into them much during the show where I am. lol For now I don't see any problem with having one Hunter-nin. If you want, I'll put him down as that.
