Half a mile from the village boundaries, a figure perched high in a tree, carefully scanning the surrounding area with all the senses. Satisfied with the fact that nothing was out of place, and that he should probably head back, the masked jounin sprang from his perch, landing on another a short ways away, repeating the process at a fast pace, and finally ending up near the town. He leapt again, right into an open window at the second story of a building near the edge of the town, landing inside a bedroom. He walked over to the chest in his room, holding anything he held of any value, and carefully removed the decorated mask, marking him as a hunter-nin, and placed it inside the chest, locking it after he closed the lid. He still wore another mask, made of cloth and covering half his face, to cover his blind, scarred eye.
A large dog watched him from the center of the room, tail wagging slightly. Tesou walked past the dog, patting its head. He shed the few extra outer garments he wore when he wore his hunter-nin mask, just as an added disguise to any who wold recognize his normal jounin outfit.
He left the room, wandering down the hall, down the stairs, and to the front door of his home, exitting and locking the door behind him, leaving the half wolf canine, Tsubasa, inside. He walked down the road, face ezpressionless, glancing from side to side, looking for familiar faces. He didn't even know what to do that day. He had gone scouting out of boredom, but since there was nothing there to be worried over, that distraction didn't last long. If only there was something to do....

Irrell sighed as he walked down the streets, his little cat friend sitting in his shoudlers. The cat let out a short meow followed by his claws digging into his owner's shoulder. "Ow, dammit!" the genin growled, swatting at his cat's paws. His blue cat-like eyes went back to the area in front of him. Eyes caught sight of Tesou and the genin sighed. Great. Another reminder that he hadn't found out his genin team yet. He hadn't seen seen or heard the other three genin in a while and realized that they at least had their sensei to teach them at the moment. Again the cat meowed and flicked his tail at his owner. He ignored the cat and started towards the other higher ranked ninja.
"Hey." he said with a small fake smile. Best to get on the good side of the ninja instead of having an enemy in his own village. "You're name is Tesou, right?" He matched the Jounij's stides with his own while staring up at him.

Tesou glanced to the side as someone started walking along beside him. The boy looked slightly familiar... maybe one of the students.... He glanced forward again, eyes on his path, which truthfully was going nowhere. He glanced back down suddenly when he heard his name, and he stared at the boy for a second, his pace faltering a step.
"Yes... it is." He quickly fixed his pace, walking at the same pace once more. Eyes no longer on the boy, he questioned, "I'm guessing you are genin? What do you want?"
Probably wants to get on my 'good side'. Here we go again.... When will they ever learn that I don't have a good side? He almost grumbled, but caught himself just in time, face never changing in expression in the slightest.
His hand went to his side, as it did normally, but unlike normally, it didn't catch on his belt pouch. His expresionless features suddenly turned into a scowl, and he cursed under his breath. Glancing down, he saw his belt pouch, containing his money, small weapons, and most importantly the throwing needles that marked him as hunter-nin, was missing. "Damnit... probably forgot to put it back on when I changed," he muttered under his breath. He stopped, and turned the other way, going back in the direction he came from.

He smiled as he got a reaction from the older ninja. "Yeah I'm Genin and I want nothin but somethin to do." The small cat on his shoudler meowed again, wanting attention from his owner. "Not now, Kaku," Irrell almost hissed. He put his hands behind his back and loked up at the sky, not paying attnetion to Tesou until he turned around.
He stopped, turning around and watching him until he realized that he was being left behind. Shakig his head to regain his thoughts, the Genin ran after Tesou. Kaku gripped harder as the speed picked up and he almost slipped off. "Where ya goin?" the question came out before he realized they had.

Tesou glanced down, a rare moment of surprise showing on his features, as if he had either forgotten the boy was there, or that the boy actually ran after him. "I'm going to my home. I must have forgotten something."
He continued walking, then he caught a movement of orange out of the corner of his eye. He glanced back, and for the first time, noticed the cat resting on the boy's shoulder. His visible eye narrowed slightly. "If you're going to insist on following me, you may not want to bring along the cat. The dog likes cats, but not in the 'let's be friends' way." A pause. "You've been warned."
He finally reached his home again, and entered, not bothering to shut the door behind him since he was going to be exitting again once he had his pouch. He walked through the sparsely decorated kitchen, the only decoration being a single wallscroll, with the kanji dictating 'Serenity' hanging on the far wall. He walked up the stairs, which were right near the kitchen, and down the hallway, going into his room. He glanced around, a once again sparsely decorated room, and when he didn't see the pouch outright, he decided it must be in his chest. He knelt by the chest, pulling out the key that opened it, and once the thing was opened, he rumaged through it searching for his pouch, ignoring the hunter-nin mask that was showing, half-buried under his hunter-nin vest so that only a small curve of white showed through.

He stopped for a quick moment, surprised that Tesou actually had an expression on his face. Claws in his shoulder reminded him yet again of the world surounding him and the boy ran to catch up to the other Mizu ninja.
"You have a dog? Kaku can take care of himself, I'm not worried," he replied, putting on a proud smile. He stopped yet again for a quick second, thinking about how big the dog could be. Yes, he can't keep his mind on one thing for too long wthout thinking of something else. It was just something about the boreing atmousphere in the area.
Irrell shook his head and again had to run to catch up with Tesou. Once they reached his house though, the younger ninja stood outside the front door, eyeing the inside suspiciously. "Um...." He didn't know if he should enter or not, after all it wasn't his hime to intrude on.

Black eyes glanced up, shaggy head turning as the keen nose caught scent of... cat. The huge black dog, which looked as if it were pure wolf, but with a larger dog's bulk, padded towards the door of Tesou's home, glancing outside. Tsubasa's eyes immediately went to the cat in front of him, and he started to growl. Cat. There was a cat here! Tsubasa liked cats.... They made good snacks. He slowly paced forward again, a snarl on his maw, eyes still locked on the feline on the boy's shoulder.
Tesou grumbled as he continued trying to look for the pouch, shifting through piles of the cloth he had been too lazy to fold before he had left. He suddenly caught a glimpse of what looked to be the material the pouch was made of, and started diggin in that general area. He smirked slightly in success as he finally grabbed the pouch, and it quickly disappeared as he realized the pouch was stuck. The straps must be caught... "Damnit!" He started tossing things out of the chest in annoyance, the hunter-nin mask landing on the floor with a clatter, soon followed and half-covered once more by an article of clothing in the jounin's attempts to get to the elusive pouch.

"Um..." Irrell took a step back at the sight of the large wolf like dog. Even though he looked to be fine, he was terrifyed of dogs, partly the reason why he had three cats and not dogs. "T-think you could hurry up at bit, Tesou." there was a slight quivver in his voice.
Kaku stood, back arched and claws ubsheathed. He glared at the dog in front of him with his green eyes. Dog! Why a dog? Why not a nice fat juicy rat? And to make it woursr, this was no poodle house pet but a large beast that looked more wolf than dog. His tail lashed side to side in aggitation.

Tesou gave a shout in triumph as the pouch finally came untangled, and he stood, reattaching it to his waistband in its usual spot. He turned and took a step, and as his foot landed on cloth, he glanced down in confusion. Hello mess.... He had forgotten about all the things he had thrown out of his way in the attempt to get the the goddamn pouch. "Great. This is just what I needed." He snarled, and started picking things up, tossing them back into the chest. "Just peachy...."
He glanced around again, satisfied that he had gotten everything, and sighed. Well. That pretty much killed his plans for the day. He reached up, removing the headband that kept the mask covering his face up, then the lower clasps that were around his neck. Placing the mask on the dresser in the room, he wandered outside, making plans for making dinner and feeding the dog... maybe doing some exercises... eh?
He was taken out of his thoughts as he heard Tsubasa growl downstairs. "Tsubasa?" He wandered down the stairs, brows narrowed slightly in concern. "What's wrong, boy?" He wandered into view of the front door and both eyes widened. Oh crap! The kid! He had forgotten all about the kid! One look at the situation, and he snarled out a curse. He paced forward in agitation, one hand reaching out and grabbing Tsubasa's thick neck fur. "Tsubasa, stop that!"
Tsubasa glanced up, giving a confused whine. He quickly consented, padding back towards the kitchen, throwing one last glare over his shaggy shoulder at the cat.
Tesou glanced back at the kid, then suddenly cursed again, hand immediately flying up and covering his visible, scarred right eye. The mask!

Irrell was confused, shocked, and absolutly one hundred percent scared to death. The dog had nearly eaten him and his cat not to mention Tesou's scarred eye. Coud this day possibly get any weirder? Then it did. Kaku jumped off his shoulder and pranced around tauntingly in front of Tsubasa, tail weaving only inches from the dog's jaws.
With a small groan, the teen bent down to pick up his cat, grabbing him by the scruff and lifting him onto his shoulder. His eyes then went back to Tesou. Great. What was he suposed to do now? Stare and pray to god he wasn't going get in trouble, turn and run hoping the dog didn't follow? What? Well, he couldn't exactly leave. Scratch turning and running off the list. Staring would probably get him into more trouble.
He diverted his gaze from the older ninja, instead staring at his feet as if he suddenly found them interesting."Um.....sorry i guess." he mumbled. Sure, he didn't know what he appologizing for buit it was better than getting in trouble for not saying something.

Tsubasa was growling again at the cat, and snapped at the feline's tail, missing by barely an inch. With a grumble, he stalked off, wandering upstairs.
Tesou was standing there, unsure of what to say, hand up and covering the side of his face. Damnite... he hated it when people saw that scar! And the kid staring didn't make it any better.... He relaxed slightly as the kid suddenly looked away, and mumbled something. It took Tesou a moment to process what Irrell said, and another to reply.
"Eh, just... I'm gonna... mask...." He turned around, going up the steps at a slightly faster than normal pace. Note to self... don't stammer. He entered his room again, eyes going immediately to the dog curled up on the floor. Tsubasa met his gaze, an irked look on the dog's face. Tesou shrugged, and went to his dresser, fetching his mask and putting it back on. Once satisfied it was in place, he went back downstairs.
Eyeing the kid, face expresionless once more, he finally said after a few moments, "So, is there any particular reason you followed me, kid?"

He looked back up after Tesou left, letting out a breath he didn't even know he had been holding. So he wasn't mad and he was off the hook, well for now at least. The cat growled slightly and moved over to Irrell's other shoulder.
When the ninja came back down Irrell was relived. He shrugged as the question was asked. "No. I was just bored plus i thought you might know about the new genin teams." His eyes traveled over to Tesou's face, giving him a slight puppy-dog like look. "Plus, my name isn't kid it's Irrell. Irrell Shikiama."

Tesou had wandered over to the kitchen fridge while Irrell was talking, and had pulled out a bottle of tea. He glanced over at the kid's words of a name, and his visible eyebrow rose at the weird face he was getting. "Whatever, kid." He opened the bottle, took a sip, then glanced over again.
"As for new genin teams, I have no clue. I'm not in the 'ring of information' for that topic. And as for boredom, well, I can tell you that's something we have in common." He took another sip, then a thought struck him. He glanced back at the kid, suspicion on his face. "Wait, new genin teams? Wasn't there only one? Or have they finally recruited enough for a second? As far as I knew, only Zell was brave enough to volunteer for that." A slightly thoughtful look passed his face, and he ran a hand through his hair. "Well, brave may not be the right for for his case..." he muttered with another amused look.

He stayed outside, not really wanting to venture in with the dog out and about. "Yeah. New Genin teams. I don't know about the first other than it's going to be one hard training session with the genins is going to be hell." He shrugged. "Just thought you might know something about it, If you don't then I don't know what I'll do." A sigh escaped his lips. As Tesou muttered something under his breath, Irrell leaned in a bit closer to try to hear what he was saying. Again he sighed. "If I don't get a Jounin to train me then there's seriously going to be a big problem."

Tesou sighed again, and rubbed a hand at his head. "I might be agreeing to an early death, but," he paused, and sighed again. "If they really need a teacher that badly, and since I've been bored out of my mind these past few weeks.... I guess I may be able to teach a group." He grimaced inwardly, and added, "But there'll need to be three genin, and I'd need permission from either your last sensei or the kage to do so. Most likely from the kage...." He trailed off, and glanced to the side, taking another sip of tea.
"But, I guess having more able ninja around is more important than my sanity...." He glanced back at the kid, and nodded. "I'll go talk to the kage soon, and see if I can't get permission. You go talk to your last sensei. See if they can get two more genin that are ready for training."
