Tesou went through his daily morning exercise routines by the lake, clothed only in his pants and his mask. He usually didn't wear the mask during exercises, since it was usually far more early or late than most would usually come to the lake, this time he knew he was expecting people to show. His own students, in fact. Fairly ironic, that was. Students... for him. What an odd thought....
Tsubasa sat off to the side, black eyes glancing around with boredom. What the dog really wanted was for the genin to show up, so that the training for them could start. That would be more interesting than this, considering the dog would have a part in it.
Tesou finally finished, now covered in a sheen of sweat from all the hard twists, turns, punches, kicks, and jumps that he combined to create a routine, just to keep his body limber. After all, one's body was the greatest weapon in a fight. Without knowing how to control it, one could easily lose a limb required to use any other form of jutsu, or even obtain a less dire injury that would do just the same.
He wandered down to the lake's edge, kneeling by the water and splashing some onto his face. All the while, he was mentally counting down. 8:55 now. He should definitely be expecting students to arrive soon, if Irrell indeed passed the message around. Of course, all hell would break loose on the boy if he didn't.
Tesou returned to his things, glancing over them to make sure everything was in place. A bag, containing something he would reveal after the first exercise; a box of paints; three pairs of gloves; and, of course, Tsubasa, who still looked extremely bored.

Irrell approached the training grounds cautiously. There was no way of knowing if Tesou would attack or not to test the Genin. Or worse, Tsubasa attacking because of the scent of cat. Like advised, he had left his three pets at home, making sure the door was firmly locked before heading towards the lake.
He let his muscles relax slightly at the sight of Tesou and Tsubasa. There was still the possiblity that the person and animal he was seeing could be mere shadow clones or doppleganners. He put on a smile to hide the feeling of nervousness that was sure to show sooner or later.
'God, I hope the others come soon. I'll be dead meat otherwise He stopped a few yards from both of the others there and scanned the few trees nearby. Okay, he didn't see any trace of someone that could be hiding, so the Genin cleared his throat t get the /jounin'a attention.

'I wonder if the sensei is a drunk..' Weird thing to go through someone's mind right before the training. But on the other hand, Rae was very odd. Many people before had said that about her, though honestly she never cared. As the sensei, a team mate, and a large dog came into view she sighed thankfully. 'Sheesh.. Glad I didn't bring Yoko, she would get murdered.' As she kept thinking about all that would happen, she seemed to stumble and tripped over her own feet.
Soon enough she had to pick herself up from the ground and looked around hoping no one saw that idiotic fall. Rae dusted off her clothes and continued walking. She stopped when she was next to the river and sat down, staring at the sensei. Raesion would have poked him, but she heard Irrell clear his throat and hoped that was enough to get his attention.

Tesou glanced up as he heard someone approaching. After confirming who it was, he just went back to packing his things that he wouldn't be needing into his other bag. The still shirtless hunter-nin then straightened up as Irrell cleard his throat, and glanced over at the student again. His eyes passed the kid, to the girl that was standing not far behind him. "Hmm." He had heard the fall, but decided to ignore it. He turned back to his things again, making sure the things he needed were all there.
Tsubasa was the picture of pure innocence. His eyes were big and sparkley, tail wagging in a friendly way, tounge out. He smiled innocently at the two genin, giving a friendly bark as they approached.
Tesou turned back yet again, satisfied that everything was ready. He switched his gaze from genin to genin, and after a moment, he remarked, "We're missing someone." He checked his mental clock. "And it's past 9. They're late." His mind frowned. He did not look well upon tardiness, and since the other girl was there on time, he assumed that the message had been delivered. Not a very good impression on the first meeting.....
"Well, you can relax a few more moments until your third member arrives." He turned away again, patting Tsubasa. He suddenly remembered something, and turned back. Visible eyebrow raised, he asked, "Did either of you eat breakfast?"

The teen would have laughed as the other fell, but stopped short. Starting a rivalry now wouldn't be a good thing, expecially for him. His attnetion turned back to Tesou. He shook his head, remembering the conversation held only the day for, and he had to say, Irrell didn't feel all that good about what was going to be going on here. And Tsubasa putting on the innocent act didn't help at all. Something was up around here and Irrell was nervous about it, probably more than the other Genin.
He sat down, happy to oblige to the relaxing part of Tesou's words. Moving his hands behind him to support the upper part of his body, Irrell stared up at the sky, thinking about all the things that could possibly go wrong today. It went from, Tsubasa attacking him to winding up back in the Academy. Irrell let out a sigh.

Her brother told her the day before not to be late. It was always important to make good first impression but at the rate she was going she would be. It was 8:58 now and she was barely reaching the lake. Her nerves kept her up all night. It was the first time she would be able to work with a team. Normally she was either assigned to do things alone or she simply got forgotten in a huge group.
She finally reached the others praying that she made it in time. She quickly brushed her skirt off sat down quietly and said timidly "Good morning Sensei. I am Kin Hinoki." As soon as she finished she had realized she was late... "I'm very sorry for being so late.. please forgive me.." she said quietly while bowing low to the ground. She could only pray that no one would hold it against her...
OOC: I'm so sorry i didn't reply faster. I was on a school field trip today and just got home. it was from 8:00 AM -7:15 PM XD I got home at 7:42 about.

She put a hand to her forehead, just knowing they saw the fall. She wished for a second she could say, yes I have eaten breakfast. But she was to nervous, and didnt want to bother with something stupid so she skipped it. Of course now to Rae? Breakfast didn't seem that stupid.
Raesion shook her head to clear her thoughts and stared at the sensei, hoping he had brought food but highly doubted it. She sighed and looked at Kin with a small smile that she wasn't going to be the only girl.

Tesou straightened again, eyes locked onto the late girl. "How nice of you to join us, Kin." His eye was narrowed slightly, but it quickly went back to normal, and he turned, returning to his things. "And good. No one's eaten. Now," he gathered the few things, paints, gloves, and bag full of unknown, and turned back to the three genin. He placed the objects on the ground in front of them, and cast his gaze among them. "Time for your first lesson."
He picked up the paints, three different colors, and handed a tube to each of the genin: red to Irrell, blue to Rae, and yellow to Kin. "Don't swap colors, unless you want to be mis-graded." He patted Tsubasa once more, and the dog stood up, standing in front of the students. "Now. Be sure to pay close attention before and during this exercise, as I will be questioning you on it afterwards."
He pointed to the dog's head. "Your goal will be simple: you are each assigned a color paint, which you will use to tag Tsubasa. You much tag him here, on the upper head; here, on the jugular; here, and the heart; or here, at the lower under-stomach." He pointed to each area as he said it, making sure they got the point. "Getting any of these areas will gain you a point. Hitting anywhere else will make you lose a point. Clear? The one with the most points at the end wins."
He turned slightly, fetching the gloves. He tossed a pair to each of the gunin. "If you want, you can use these gloves; smear the paint on them and tag the dog that way. Or you can just use the tube itself, tag the dog with the paint on your hands, or any other way you can think of." He suddenly took on a very dangerous look. "Just DO NOT use any weapon that will cause harm on him. Understand?"
He passed the glare to each student, then his face went blank again. "The main catch? Tsubasa will, one, be running from you, and will attempt to throw you off. Two, he will fight back. Don't worry, though, he won't use his fangs and claws, as long as you don't use any form of sharp weapon on him."
The hunter-nin perked, as if remembering something at last thought. "Oh, and the winner will, of course, get a prize. A little motivation, hmm?" He stood, then patted Tsubasa again. The dog whirled, speeding off into the woods. "I'll let you know when to follow. Any questions?"

Irrell stared at the paint as it was passed to him. Red paint to tag Tsubasa. Man, he already had enough problems with this dog, but of course, being a ninja did require following orders, so of course, he didn't objectm erely gave the hybred a smirk that clearly said i-am-so-oing-to-enjoy-this.
He took the gloves in his other hand and shoved them into one of the various pockets on his pants. He didn't need them after all, it would be just like smearing paint onto a dog with your bare hand right? Irrell looked back up at his sensei just in time to notice the very deadly like glare. With a gulp he nodded to show he understood not to harm the dog. As the last question was asked, Irrell's hand shot up. He had one very important question that would probably come in handy.

Rae quietly covered the gloves in blue paint and put them on. She put the tube stinking out of her shoe, incase she needed it again. She also raised her hand and stared at the gloves on her hands and to where Tsubasa speeded off.
She was quite amused by this.. Training procedure.'Im guessing this is for speed..' She thought and shrugged keeping her hand up.

Kin knew that she was not fast. If she were there would have been no need for apologies not to long ago. All she had to do was focus and come up with a way to solve her problems. Suddenly it hit her. If her idea worked there was no doubt she would at least do better than one of her new teammates. Normally when a competition is mentioned Kin tries to wiggle her way out of it but this time she knew she had to show her abilities to the rest of the team. Kin refused to be looked at as a weakness, but is her resolve enough to push her? Suddenly she noticed Irrell's hand go up. She could only hope that his question wouldn't effect her plans.

Tesou saw the two hands go up, but remained silent for a moment. He glanced over his shoulder in the direction that Tsubasa had disappeared in, waiting.... Looking back, he said, "Irrell? What is it?" Looking over at Rae, he said, "And you next."
His eyes travelled to the third. Miss tardy. It was interesting that only she didn't ask a question. Perhaps she already knew exactly how she was going to perform this task? That was a good sign... one who knew precisely how to solve a problem and knew it quickly was a great asset to any team. He was looking forward to seeing what she had in mind.

He glanced over at Rae as her hand went pu as well. Then at Kit who most likely already had what she was doing in mind. Either way he was perfectly fine. Hanging around cats about 24/7 has it's advantages and disadvantages as well. "Is there a time limit?" he asked, lowering his arm. Irrell didn't know if this was already said or not. If it was, he had misheard horribly. Of course, he probably wasn't the only one to notice that Tesou had forgotten to mention that. It was, after all, an important variable. His eyes kept glancing to where the dog had disappered, itching to go after the dog and show him he couldn't swipe at his cat, even if it was just a warning shot.
