Personality: Tayrin is lazy usually, yet she's always alert. During missions she does her best no matter what, and, when she has time, she daydreams and eats. She is often hyper, too. Tayrin act nicely toward others, but when she gets mad, she even more hyper than normal. Tay is often annoyed by her sister, but she's a bit annoying herself.
History: Tsuru and her sister, Tayrin, were born fraternal twins. They became part of a relatively prosperous family, more or less middle class, but because their parents were travelers and ambassadors of sorts, the two girls did not get to see them much. Because of this, they have lived with their aunt for most of their lives and grew up together. They bicker and fight constantly, being more or less opposites, but they know the joys and sorrows of family life.
When they were 10, they were given their familiars and have enjoyed their avian friendship ever since. Tayrin received a winter wren and named it Saiki. Saiki was trained to throw rocks at people on command by Tay not too long after they met. Unlike Tsai, Saiki doesn’t like fish too much. Sometimes she will eat herring, but normally she only eats bugs and berries. Tayrin and Saiki are able to communicate even though Saiki cannot speak English. This is because Tayrin learned to decipher her bird’s constant chirping. Likewise, Saiki has learned to understand English. In a way, Tayrin finds this rather annoying.
On her 11th birthday, Tayrin received a fan. This fan was blue and had painted butterflies on it. It was also made of a lightweight metal. Tayrin practiced with it a lot to learn how control the wind a bit. She also used it to practice deflecting attacks. Her fan and her bird are her most treasured allies.
Tayrin currently hopes to one day teach others to be ninjas, but knows that it will be a while before she can.
