Ado saw the small flicker of joy in Takumi's eyes, and a small smile broadened slowly on his young round face. So...Takumi COULD crack a smile, even if it WAS with his eyes! This made Ado happy, and it filled him with hope. This man Takumi...he didn't smile as often as people should. The average person should smile at least 3 times a day, or at least, that was how the young child's mind worked.
Ado made it his personal goal to make this man smile more often, even if it killed him. Ado would follow him sometimes, crack jokes, do adorable things, say things that would make Takumi happy. And if it came down to it, he would defend Takumi, and see if THAT made him smile. Whatever it was...Adokenai Soyokaze would find it!

"What are you staring at?" Takumi snapped, sending a small glare towards the boy. Chimera rolled his eyes. Sometimes his master could be such an idiot. The dog turned his attention to Dump, thinking that maybe this creature could be more extertaining than their owners.
Takumi sighed and glanced over at Ado. "You're going to start following me, aren't you?"

Ado's eyes flickerd somewhat, and he waved his hands infront of his face. "No! No, of course not, Takumi-dono!" He laughed nervously. HOW had he figured that out just by LOOKING at him?! Ado gulped nervously. "What...Whatever gave you that idea, Takumi-dono!?"
If Ferrets could sigh with exasperation, thats what he was doing. He leaped from Ado's shoulder and scampered down towards the child's wounded knee. With his small pink tongue, he began to lap up the mess. If Ado wasn't going to take care of it, HE would. Dump scampered towards a small bush and tore one of the smaller leaves off. He quickly scooted back towards his master. Without a second thought, the animal chomped down on the leaf, making it's inner juices flow outside, and he placed it on the child's wound.
"OW!" Ado cried, looking down at the ferret. Dump chattered away as if laughing before scampering back up to Ado's shoulder. Ado gave him a nasty glance. "Y'coulda warned me before doing that, but thanks..." It stung like hell, but it would help. He had to admit, Dump was smart.

takumi laughed inside of him. He would have openly if it wasn't for the fact he was in public. The genin snickered but made it look like a sneeze mixed with a cough. "Next time, be more careful about where you trip." He rubbed his side where Ado's foot had caught him.
Chimera snickered as much as a dog could at Ado's cried. His eyes still held a military like look to them even as he snickered. His tail thumped the ground once as his eyes locked onto the smaller animal, as if giving him a complement for his work.

Ado laughed and scratched the back of his head sheepishly. "Next time I won't tell Dump that I'm giving him a bath!" He said cheerfully. At this, Dump began chattering away nonsensically, but Ado understood every word the Ferret squeaked, and his face paled. "DUMP! You have such a vulgar tongue!" He bopped the ferret gently on the nose. Dump's chattering minimized slightly, but he still had a put out squeak now and then.
Ado looked embarrased at Takumi. He hoped that Takumi didn't judge him because of his misbehaving Ferret. "He means well...he really does.." Ado said awkwardly. At this, Dump began chattering up a storm. Ado blinked and turned to him. "No no...let him think what he wants...and don't threaten to gnaw off anyone else's fingers!" He said, slightly exasperatedly.

"yeah. Or jsut spell it out." takumi replied, ignoring the 'gnaw off anyone else's fingers' part. If the ferret wanted to he could sure as hell try. Dump wouldn't get three feet close to him before Chimera attacked. Takumi didn't think he could stand a pet that chatted 24/7 non-stop day and night. He needed sleep, not nightmares about a rodent that didn't know the word shut.
He rolled over onto his side and picked up a stick, eyeing it causally before tossing it. "What rank are you anyway?"

"I'm a Genin." He said flatly, and his gaze fell slightly. "But I don't have a team, or a Sensei." This saddened the child. It seemed everyone in Kumo had a team but him. His grin never wavered, however. That was just how he was, happy and hyper.
"Are you a Genin too, Takumi-dono?" He asked, unable to keep the curriousity from his voice. Takumi, even if he himself didn't like it, was his only friend at the moment. In fact, besides his foster parents and teachers at the academy, Takumi was the only soul who had ever said a word to him, even if he HAD said it in anger.

"Me? Yeah. Got a team and all that, but they're just a bunch of girls. i'm the only male of the entire bunch!" He spoke with a small hint of anger in his voice, as if he could have someone better to train him. So this kid could be annoying but he was the first person who hadn't yelled at him about his attitude.

"Girls are great!" Ado said cheerfully, wrapping his arms around his knees as he sat, rocking back and forth happilly. "They can do alot of things we can't." Ado said with passion. If there was one thing he believed strongly in, it was that men and women were equal, there was no better gender. This showed feircly in his young eyes.

Takumi glanced at the Genin by him. "Okay, sure, they can do things we can't but still, being one guy out of a group of five is really difficult to handle! I mean, something fluffy and cute you know is a trap corsses your path and their all over it!" He nearly yelled the words out to the world.

"A girl saved me one time." Ado said defiantly. It was the only time his voice held a negative tone. "A Genin from another village was pokin' fun at me...and he probably decided no one would have missed me, which no one would have, so he tried to...to.." He squeezed his eyes shut. "But then this girl comes outtah NO WHERE and drives the guy off...I didn't catch her name...and I was so young.. I can barely remember her..." He said sadly.

for once in his life, Takumi felt sorry for someone. "Guess I miss judged them. Why did you just let him pick on you though?" the question was a normal one. any sane shinobi should be able to take care of himself in a fight. Well, except when up agaisnt a Jounin or someone of higher Rank.

"I was an academy student and he was a Genin....at least three years older than I was. Besides.." He said softly, "I'm not much anyway. I graduated by fluke I guess." It was obvious that Ado had very little confidence in himself. So low, in fact, it seemed he thought that his Ferret Dump had more ninja skills than he himself did.

"I doubt it! They wouldn't let you graduate unless there was something you did right." It was kind of easy to tell by his words Ado didn't have much self-confidence. "Besides," he rolled over to face the smaller ninja. "I'm sure you have something you're good at." Simple speach was all it was to him, even if it might mean something more to Ado.

Ado couldn't help but grin. "There was just one thing I was really good at..." He said softly. He looked around as if checking to see if anyone else was around. Ado hated to brag. "I was really good at sneaking around and performing stealth Jutsus....My Academy Sensei always used to say 'Adokenai, I can't tell which one is the Ferret: You, or that animal on your shoulder!" Ado said in low tones, unable to keep the giggle from his voice.
