Ado looked at the ground. "So I'm not the only one..." He said, his voice cracking. Though his hair hid his face, if Takumi looked closely, and I mean REALLY closely, he would see the tears welling up in the child's eyes. Even when crying, Ado was adorable, in a sad and anguished sort of way.

The slim figure almost wanted to slap Takumi from what she heard. It did matter if you lived with your real parents, if you lived alone, or with some foster parents. Atleast thats what she thought. Her mother was popular with the men and was always drowsy. Her father payed attention to her which was always good. Her frown turned to a slight smile as she imagined her frolicking puppies at home. She had left her dogs at home, because she could never only take one. Miharu had found that very unfair. She twisted her weapon around and yawned actually hoping for someone to talk to.

Ado couldn't help it now. The tears fell, and he quickly lowered his head so that Takumi couldn't see. "I live alone. I don't have anybody but Dump." Ado furriously swiped at his eyes. He wouln't cry....but his gentle and fragile spirt wouldn't allow this, apparenty.

"Well all I have is him." Takumi pointed to Chimera with his thumb. He ignored the girl who had come. Wasn;t his fault if she hurt herself on all the weapons, mostly kunai, laying around all over the place. "Guess we're two of a kind." He put his hands behind him head like a cushion.

She yawned and leaned back into the shade on a large thick branch. She messed with the leaves hanging for a while then twisted her weapon around once more cutting several leaves off and catching them in her hand. Miharu was prefectly startled when four puppies came running to the tree all of them licking and panting. The red Shiba Inu came first and she sniffed the tree. The white two-toned Akita sneezed and sniffed one the weapons laying around. The quiet and timid Poochin just followed her white Spitz brother. The Spitz stared at where his master was hiding.

"Yup. Two of a kind. To bad we're not on the same team." He said lamely. "You're my first friend in this village, and I've been her all my life." He said. Despite the sadness of the event, his face was lit with a smile and his voice leaked with happiness. A friend, finally! He considered the girl who saved him to be his friend, but she wasn't around.
Dump chattered angrilly at Ado, and nipped at the young boy's ear as if nagging at him. Ado squeaked in pain, glowering at Dump. "No, I didn't forget you! Of course you're my friend!" Ado told Dump exasperatedly. He had meant 'Human' friends, but apparently, Dump had taken it the wrong way. He used a finger to pet the young ferret's head and calm him down. "There...see? Calm is good, Dump!"

Takumi glanced over at Ado as he spoke about him, Takumi, being a friend. Ado was his first human friend as well but he would never admit it in person and out loud. He merely shrugged in reply. "We all find friends our own way. Some have some from birth others find 'em later in their life. Kind of like what you did with Dump and me."

"Yeah!" He said enthousiastically. Ado leaned back, much like Takumi had done, and rested his head in the soft grass. Inwardly, he hoped that he got a team soon...he was bored. Sitting around was not fun while all the other Genins were out doing missions. Technically, he was already ON a team...they just needed a sensei for the team to operate. He wasn't sure about other members either. Ado sighed.
"I wanna go do missions. Have you ever been on a mission yet, Takumi-Oniichan?" He asked innocently, staring abesentmindedly up at the clouds. He was having fun picking shapes out in the clouds....gently and ever so slowly, Ado raised an arm and with one pointer finger, he began to trace the shapes in the sky. A hawk....a bowl of Ramen....a headband...and lastly, he traced a ferret, and he giggled.

Takumi watched the younger Genin and sighed. what had he gotten himself into this time? "No. I haven't gone on a mission yet. Should soon though." He had met his jouni sensei not that long ago.
As Ado started tracing shapes in the sky with his finger curiosity gripped him. "What are you doing?" he came out like a rough question, almost like he was accusing him of something.
